Health Warranty and Purchase Agreement
Your puppy comes with a 2 year warranty on hips, elbows, and genetic ailments that are life-threatening.
* Your puppy is guaranteed to arrive healthy and free of disabling genetic diseases at the time of purchase.
* In order for agreement to remain effective buyer must schedule a "well puppy check-up" with a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of receiving their puppy at the buyers' expense. If the vet finds any pre-existing serious or life threatening problem, the buyer may request a full refund within 5 days of puchase. To receive a full refund, buyer must supply the seller the vet report and the puppy must be delivered, at the buyer's expense, to us within five (5) days of the vet examination.
*Once the puppy has cleared the vet exam or 3 days have passed, it is understood that the breeder has provided a healthy puppy.
Buyer's Responsibility
*All shipping and vet costs are at the buyer's expense.
* This warranty is not transferable to a third party should the seller give away or sell the dog.
* Physically injured caused to the dog is not covered under the health guarantee.
*Buyer is responsible for maintaining the proper overall health of this puppy through vaccinations, heartworm medication, parasite prevention,
and ongoing maintenance in order to remain under guarantee. Buyer must provide written veterinary health records demonstrating proper care was
provided if guarantee is to be enforced.
Health Guarantee
*Seller guarantees the puppy to be free of inheritable genetic defects for a period of 24 months which includes:
-Hip dysplasia
-Progressive Retinal Atrophy
*Should the puppy be found to have any of the stated genetic problems, buyer must notify seller by registered mail within five (5) days of the
discovery and provide us with records from a licensed vet.
To qualify for a replacement or refund buyer must:
1. Provide documentation from a licensed vet must (x-rays orblood tests, etc.) that the genetic defect exists. Medical
proof of any claim must be provided at the buyers cost. The Vet must specifically certify that there has been no apparent accidents, the dog is in otherwise good health and has a healthy weight for its body size. If hip dysplasia is suspected, the Vet must send the x-rays to the Orthopedic
Foundation for Animals (OFA) to get a rating at the owners’ expense.
2. Eye exams must be performed by a certified ophthalmologist (DAVCO)
3. Once OFA and/or Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF)results have been obtained, you must mail a signed copy to seller
within five (5) days.
If the dog is found to have one of the above stated genetic problems, seller will reimburse the buyer for vet medical expenses up to the
original purchase price of the puppy, or will provide a replacement pup (excluding shipping costs).
Limited Lifetime Guarantee up to 5 years from the puppy’s date of birth:
We understand that a puppy is not replaceable however in the highly unlikely occurrence of death within one year of birth that is
attributed to genetics or if the puppy has a congenital or hereditary disorders that will adversely affects the health of your puppy,
as certified by a licensed vet, we will replace the puppy with another of equivalent value at no cost to you.
All vet reports must be mailed by certified mail stating the reason of death by a licensed veterinarian.
After the first year, should the puppy die due to genetic problems, we will issue a credit in the amount of 50% of the purchase price
to be applied to the purchase of a replacement puppy of equivalent color, quality, and gender. All vet reports must be mailed by
certified mail stating the reason of death by a licensed veterinarian.
To keep this agreement in affect you to the following:
•Have your puppy examination by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours and send us the medical report within 5 days.
• Maintenance your pet’s health by keeping current on all recommended immunizations and examinations.
•Continue the proper de-worming schedule and completing regular exams until 16 weeks of age or as recommended by a
veterinarian.
Exceptions to our Guarantee:
•No replacements will be given for hip dysplasia if the dog is over-weight or over-worked; only for hereditary reasons.
•We cannot guarantee the temperament, disposition, size, weight, conformation, color, markings or breeding ability
of your new puppy.
• Failure to provide your puppy with proper veterinary care including timely vaccinations will void this guarantee.
•This guarantee does not cover undescended testes or any cost associated with spays or neuter.
